The sacred and the profane intersect in a series of ceramic installations inspired by Islamic architectural ornamentation in “To Be Seen,” a solo show by ceramics artist Sarah Gross opening Jan. 5, 2018, at Living Arts of Tulsa. Gross is an assistant professor of visual art at the University of Kansas. She received an MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design and a bachelor’s degree from Carleton College, Minnesota. She has completed artist residencies at Greenwich House Pottery, Grand Valley State University, and the Lawrence Arts Center. Read more…
