SYT’s Beauty and the Beast brings Magic to the Main Stage

The Summer Youth Theatre production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast opens tonight and is sure to sweep you off your feet with spectacular dancing, beautiful sets by Tammy Keiser, costumes hand designed by Jeannie Harper (including Belle’s intricate ball gown) and musical numbers that will stay with you long after the production is over.

A cast of over 70 youth and 20 technicians have worked together to create a fabulous production sure to entertain the entire family. Special highlights to look out for include the beautiful giant rose created with LED lights and the roles of Gaston and The Beast played by brothers. Director Ric Averill says the cast and crew of this production are one of the most disciplined and energetic groups of youth he’s ever worked with (and he’s been at this a long time, so we trust his judgement). Hurry and get your tickets while you can!
