What is the SYT Internship Program?
SYT’s Internship Program is open to 9th-12th graders and college students who want to explore a hands-on theatre work-study experience. Each student will be assigned a role for a specific show and will be required to attend weekly meetings over the course of eight weeks. The program focuses on building leadership skills and cultivating communication and problem-solving abilities.
How does the internship work?
Interns are required to attend weekly meetings to discuss the productions they are working on and solve problems as a group. Interns are required to be on time for each meeting, rehearsal, and production, and to follow through on their assignments. Each position pays a stipdend.
When and where will SYT interns meet?
Meetings will occur Thursdays from 12:30pm to 1:30pm:
June 1, 8, 15, 22
July 6, 13, 20, 27
