Free Screenprinting Workshop with Visiting Artist Danielle Wycoff

Danielle Wyckoff: perception–reflection–reception–return–

Rethink: I Am a Veteran is a storytelling project written and designed by women artists to share the experiences of female veterans. Personal confrontation with issues of abuse, family life, and sexuality will be addressed in this original theatre production.

Scene design will be created by project-based resident Danielle Wyckoff. Combining her background in studio arts and technical theater, Danielle’s story-centered work moves fluidly between visual and performing arts spaces.

During her residency, Wycoff will also teach a free one-day workshop, leading participants through textile printing techniques. With a focus on shape, line, and image generated narrative, this class will create material for an expanded installation in the Arts Center lobby.

Free Form Screenprinting will meet:

Saturday, November 3rd, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM

and is free to the public.

To enroll, call the front desk: (785) 843-2787.
