Join us to launch the canoes from Tom Huang’s Kaw River Canoe Workshop. Meet us at 4pm, Saturday August 27th at the River Front Park at River Mile 54 on the Kaw. Bring your canoe, kayak, paddle boat, or alternative river craft to paddle and float with us to the KU boathouse.
A potluck in Burcham Park to celebrate our boatbuilding and river journey will immediately follow the float.
