Box City Tokyo

As we head into our final week of summer classes here at the Lawrence Arts Center, we just wanted to thank everyone who stuck with us through virtual learning and into totally new protocol due to COVID-19 for our limited on-site programming. We appreciate your willingness to work through these trials with us and your dedication to staying creative no matter what the circumstances! These kids have impressed and inspired us week after week.

Last week, we hosted a limited, socially-distanced Box City Tokyo. It did not look like it usually did, but that did not stop the young artists from creating some amazing Tokyo-inspired structures. They learned about Tokyo, spent some time brainstorming their designs, and then dove straight into building and painting. Another fun Box City in the books!
