Auditions:
Saturday, July 13 ON THE MAIN STAGE!
1:00 pm: 16-18 year olds
2:00 pm: 13-15 year olds
3:30 pm: 10-12 year olds
5:00 pm: 8-9 year olds
6:00 pm: adults (18+)
Callback Audition:
Sunday, July 14, 2-6 pm
Those auditioning should:
- bring 16 bars of a Broadway or pop song with sheet music
- prepare a monologue (30-60 seconds)
- come prepared to dance
- arrive 15 minutes early to check in
- list all conflicts on your audition form
Important Dates:
July 19: Cast List goes up at 5 pm
August 27: Rehearsals start, all cast members are required to attend
September 2: No rehearsal, Labor Day
September 17: All cast members must be enrolled to continue participation (18 and under)
October 6-10: Tech & Dress rehearsals – MANDATORY; everyone is called to these rehearsals
October 10: Final Invited Dress Rehearsal (families are invited to attend)

Special Notes:
Due to the large volume of those auditioning, we will not be calling everyone back. If you are not called back, it does NOT mean that you are not cast. We will let you know if you are called back on the evening of July 13th and the cast list will be announced on the evening of July 19th.
Due to our growing performing arts program, this production is NOT an all play, meaning that you may not be cast. Our Summer Youth Theatre program is an all play and we do invite all to play when summer comes!
All cast members are expected to be present and on time for all rehearsals they are called to.
We may ask cast members to provide their own dance shoes, tights, and undergarments.
Rehearsals:
Rehearsals will be held Sundays 2-5 pm, and Monday-Thursdays from 6:15-10 pm starting on August 27 through tech week on October 10. An official rehearsal schedule with individual call dates/times will be made available at first rehearsal. We will make best efforts to ensure that the youngest members of the cast are not held until the late hours.
Conflicts:
It is expected that each performer will attend all rehearsals they are called to. That being said, we are aware that some performers will have occasional conflicts. It is critical that you list all of your conflicts so that we can build the schedule accordingly.
We ask that there be no conflicts beginning October 6 through the run of the show.
Registration required: WI-PAWONKA $125 participation fee, no fee for adults (18+). If cast in the show, parents/guardians will need to stop by the desk to register their student. Enrollment online will not be available.

This production of Willy Wonka will take the place of our normal Spring Family Musical Feb/March Slot.
