In lieu of an in-person performance, The Lawrence Arts Center will be releasing free excerpts of “The Nutcracker, A Kansas Ballet” that its young dancers and professional team filmed this fall.
Hanan Misko, dance school director with the Lawrence Arts Center, said the point of the excerpts was to give the dancers a chance to perform and community members an opportunity to see some type of “Nutcracker” performance this year.
