Arts Center to Host Integrated Dance Education Opportunities by AXIS Dance Company

The Lawrence Arts Center is proud to welcome AXIS Dance Company, a nationally acclaimed ensemble of disabled and non-disabled performers, to lead two public events on November 11th. In addition to their artistic performance program, AXIS Dance Company builds access to dance education for people of all ages with and without disabilities. The Company has received seven Isadora Duncan Dance Awards and has appeared twice on FOX TV’s So You Think You Can Dance, exposing integrated dance to millions.

Their participation at the Lawrence Arts Center is made possible by a LiveWell Community Wellness Grant from the Douglas County Community Foundation.
