Join HANG12 for the return of the Art Box!!
Stop by 9th and Delaware St. (near the Wishing Bench) on Saturday, December 18th; 1-3 pm to see the Art Box restored to its full glory…plus a few upgrades!
To celebrate its return, HANG12 members will be serving hot chocolate (with marshmallows) and making art with those that stop by to donate art materials. Similar too ‘little free libraries’ the Art Box encourages community members to donate gently used, or unneeded, art supplies so those passing by can “take some art” and “leave some art”.
Donation Suggestions:
- Sketchbooks
- Gently used Drawing Tools: pencils, markers, charcoal, crayons, etc.
- Paint and Paintbrushes
- Canvas or Painting Surfaces
- Wire & Sculpture Materials
- Collage Materials: magazines, wallpaper, etc.
….ANYTHING ELSE ARTISTS CAN USE TO MAKE ART!!
