Eligibility
Open to artists working in all forms of printmaking. Work must be original, fully digital reproductions and photographs are not eligible. Students; please contact us regarding special booths for Student Print Groups/Clubs.
Application
Interested vendors must complete an application form to be considered for the 2017 Print Fair.
New vendors will be accepted on a rolling basis. Submission gate will be closed once all booth spaces are full.
Registration
Accepted vendors will be contacted by the Lawrence Arts Center to finalize their registration form and submit their payment to the Lawrence Arts Center to reserve their booth. The vendor rate is $100 and is nonrefundable. Vendors receive two tables & two chairs. Checks must be made payable to “The Lawrence Arts Center”, credit cards can be accepted via telephone. Spots are limited and are not guaranteed until registration is complete.
Additional support services
The registration and vendor fee only covers a basic set-up. Table cloths and wall surfaces are not provided. Public Wi-Fi is available throughout the building. Please contact us in advance of registering if you have questions regarding additional support services.
Set-up & Break down
Vendor set-up will take place on Friday, October 20th (2pm-5pm). A private preview reception for donors and ticket buyers will occur on Friday, October 20th from 6pm-9:30pm. The fair will open to the public Saturday October 21st from 10am – 4pm. The fair will take place at the Lawrence Arts Center, and will occupy the galleries, lobby & atrium spaces. Vendors bringing supplies with them can use the convention center loading entrance and will have use of two dollies. Vendors will need to vacate the Arts Center by 6pm on Saturday with break down to begin immediately at the end of the fair.
Sales & Reproduction
No commission on sales will be taken by the Lawrence Arts Center. All transactions must be handled directly at each vendor. The Arts Center does not offer services, such as cash or credit card access, for vendors. Artists/vendors are responsible for collecting all revenue and taxes. The Lawrence Arts Center reserves the right to reproduce submitted images by accepted vendors to promote Print Week 2017 (through press releases, websites, email announcements, etc.)
Liability
All reasonable care will be given to the materials on display during the Print Fair. The building will be locked and secured immediately at the end of the Preview Reception. The building will reopen at 9am, and Print Fair spaces will be monitored by staff until the start of the public fair at 10 am. The Arts Center cannot assume responsibility for the damage or loss incurred before/during/after the Print Fair, or for possible loss in transit.
