Meet the Faculty: Jamie MacPherson

Jamie Macpherson is a Minnesota-based theatre maker and teaching artist now living in Chicago. She is delighted to return to the Lawrence Arts Center this summer, both to teach this workshop and to serve as Fight Director for the Summer Youth Theatre’s production of “Romeo and Juliet.” Past credits include directing “A Village Fable” (Arizona State University) and choreographing fights for “The Princess Bride” (First Act Theatre, WI) and “Macbeth” (Arizona State University). As a theatre instructor, Jamie has taught nationally, with credits including Childplay Theatre Company (AZ), SteppingStone Theatre (MN), Adventure Stage Theatre, and American Blues Theatre (IL). Jamie received her MFA in Theatre from Arizona State University, where she specialized in Theatre for Youth and Stage Combat.
