We are excited to announce professional actor Arthur Phog Clifford in the title role of SpongeBob, in The SpongeBob Musical!
Arthur is honored to be making his Lawrence Arts Center debut, portraying the character that helped shape much of his childhood! Notable credits include Blippi in the 1st National tour of Blippi: The Wonderful World Tour, Bat Boy/Edgar in Bat Boy: The Musical (The Arts Asylum), Harold Bride in Titanic (Music Theatre Heritage), Hally in Master Harold & the Boys (Kansas City Actors Theatre), and The Emcee in Cabaret (The White Theatre). What is the last production you were in? Hollywood Live: Holiday Edition with Music Theatre Kansas City
What are your top 3 dream roles? Princeton in Avenue Q, Frank Abagnale Jr. in Catch Me if you Can, and Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar
What do you do for fun? I am a big basketball fan, so I watch a lot of NBA basketball. I also enjoy studying music theory, and going to thrift stores!
What is your favorite food? Steak
Do you have any pets? I have a 4 year-old Boxer named Edgar!
Is there anything else you’d like to share with us? SpongeBob was my favorite show growing up, so getting to be a part of this production is a dream come true for me!
