Ceramics Studio Manager


Shantel recieved her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Wyoming in 2015, and is currently completing her MFA at the University of Kansas.

She is a multimedia artist with a strong background in ceramics. She is drawn to materials that offer contrasting visual or tactile qualities, and speak to the dualities and oppositions present in our human relationships to each other and to the natural world.

Open studio is for advanced students who want to work independently. Participants must provide their own clay, and classes have studio right-of-way. Instructor permission is required. Anyone enrolled in Open Studio will meet with Shantel at 5pm on June 3rd or arrange to meet with her independently at the start of the session.
