Important Dates & Events
Mar. 3 | Irish Ceili Celebration at Lawrence Public Library, 6pm
In Irish, the word “céilí” (KAY-LEE) means party! Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day by enjoying a free Irish Step Dance performance and participating in traditional Irish group dances led by Annie Stark. This is a guided workshop designed for all ages.
Mar. 4-8 | Final Session A Classes
Session A classes will be ending this week. Final class showings for some youth classes. Details will be sent out via email.
Mar. 4-10 | Class Observation Week
Full session youth classes only. Families and caregivers are invited in to watch the whole class!
Mar. 11-15 | No Classes due to Spring Dance Production
No classes due to Alice in Wonderland. Come see the show!
Mar. 14 | Dance Parade Workshop (Studio A, 4:30-5:30pm)
Dance with us in the Lawrence St. Patricks Day Parade! Must be a current LAC Irish dance student (any age) or LAC dance student (10yrs or older) and attend the Parade Dance Workshop on Friday, Mar. 14 at 4:30-5:30pm at 10th & Mass Studios in Studio A.

Mar. 17 | St. Patrick’s Day/Irish Parade
Cheer on our Irish Dancers in the 2025 Lawrence St. Pat’s Parade! The parade starts in Downtown Lawrence and will travel over the river into North Lawrence. Anyone can walk in the parade with the Irish Dancers!
Mar. 25 | Start of Session B Classes
Join us for session b classes! Hip Hop I, Afrodance, Pilates and more!

Experience the fantastical world of Wonderland through Alice’s eyes in this multi-genre, original dance production. Based on Lewis Carroll’s classic tale Alice’s Adventure in Wonderland and reimagined for the Lawrence Arts Center’s mainstage, the story follows curious Alice as she follows the white rabbit into a wild and wondrous world where she encounters the insightful Caterpillar, the mysterious Cheshire Cat, the mad Mad Hatter and of course, the formidable Queen of Hearts.This will be an exciting production that’s sure to please! Artistic Director and Choreographer Paige Patterson-Comparato, with choreography from other LAC instructors.
