When conditions are unsafe for travel for students, staff, and faculty, the Lawrence Arts Center may cancel classes and rehearsals and/or close the building. We will offer make-up classes and rehearsals when possible.
- If USD 497 public school system cancels school due to inclement weather, the Lawrence Arts Center Early Childhood program (including Preschool and Kindergarten classes) will be canceled.
- Building closures and cancellations of other daytime classes & activities taking place before 4pm will be decided by 7am that day.
- Cancellation of classes and rehearsals starting after 4pm will be announced by 1pm that day.
- Announcements of cancellations will be posted on the LAC website and social media. Students of canceled classes will be notified by email. If there is no announcement, classes will be held as scheduled.

- Cancellation of classes and rehearsals starting after 5 pm will be announced by 3 pm the day of.
- If there is no announcement, classes will be held as scheduled.
