We are excited to announce that we received a TAPS (Transformative Art for Public Spaces) grant from the Kansas Department of Commerce! In collaboration with the City of Lawrence Parking Services Department, youth curatorial members of Hang12 will design, paint, and fabricate beautifully made art panels in the parking garage across from our building.
Hang12 presented their concepts featuring state birds and native plants to City staff members last week. Thanks to this meaningful partnership, plans were made to install the pieces above main level parking stalls and in stairwells. Look for them in the weeks ahead!
