A Few Changes This Fall
Like many arts organizations, the Lawrence Arts Center faces financial challenges from the pandemic. As a cornerstone of creativity in Lawrence, we’re committed to weathering this storm and remaining a vital community space. Your support is crucial, and we’re dedicated to being transparent about the changes we need to make to continue our mission of providing art classes in Lawrence:
- Tuition Increase | We’re increasing tuition for all classes, but we want to assure you that financial aid will still be available for those in need. We remain dedicated to providing access to the arts.
- Membership Benefits | Membership prices will increase, and a tuition discount will no longer be included. However, members can still enroll a week early – a coveted benefit (popular classes fill quickly!). Membership fees will continue to support our financial aid fund for those in need.
Again, if these changes impact you or your family’s ability to engage with the arts, we encourage you to apply for financial aid. We generously consider circumstances beyond income in our decision-making. Visit lawrenceartscenter.org to learn more and apply.
Three Ways to Find a Class
Discovering the perfect class at Lawrence Arts Center is as effortless as exciting! Choose your preferred method of deciding which classes you want to enroll in this fall:
- Printed copies of the fall catalog will be available at the Arts Center Front Desk. Additionally, our valued members, students, and recent ticket buyers will receive a copy delivered to their doorstep in early August.
- Can’t wait for the print catalog? Browse the pdf version below today! You can also download and print a copy on Issuu.
- For those who prefer the ease of online browsing, classes will be uploaded to our online class catalog by the last week in July.
