One of the highlights of every year is the exhibition of new work by artists from Cottonwood Inc.! Printmaking artist M. Willie Garcia has been working with students from this wonderful organization and now it’s your chance to see their work at the opening reception on October 30 from 5:30-7pm. 100% of art sales go directly to the Cottonwood artists, so come on out and show them your support (and buy some beautiful monotype art)!
Cottonwood Inc. has served adults with intellectual disabilities for over 40 years and provides Life Enrichment Services in the Lawrence community. LAC is proud to partner on this educational experience.
“I do a lot of things as a working artist but one of my favorite things I get to do in the spring and fall is work with a group of incredible people from the Cottonwood community in Lawrence!”
– M. Willie Garcia, Teaching Artist
