In August, the Lawrence Arts Center will present Little Red Riding Hood: Grandmother’s Tale, by award winning playwright Max Bush. An eerie yet fun tale for all ages, Bush’s new version is based on the oral tale, The Grandmother’s Story (before 1690), and Little Red Riding Hood, by Charles Perrault (1697), and Little Red Cap, by the Brothers Grimm (1812). Professional, community, and student actors will fight, dance, and wander on and off the path to Grandmother’s house in this fresh take on a red cape!
