8th-12th Grade
5:30-7:30pm, Sundays & Wednesdays, 9/9-11/14
Play12 is the Lawrence Arts Center’s youth premiere performance company. The company consists of 8th-12th graders who produce, create, and perform shows and events in various locations within our community. Play12 creates and produces work that highlights viewpoints and ideas important to our company members and to Lawrence.
Company members will work together to produce shows and events, ranging from improv comedy nights, youth band showcases, and new play readings, to devising their own 10 minute plays. If you are seeking a space to express yourself, a way to connect to other artists, or real life experience within theatre, then please join Play12.
Play12 will launch its third season in Fall 2018. Meetings will be Sundays and Wednesdays from 5:30-7:30pm at Studio 720 (720 E 9th St. #8) and will run from September 9th and through November 14th.
New and returning members, please send your resume and a letter of interest to Elizabeth Sullivan at elizabeth@lawrenceartscenter.org by September 1, 2018. In person interviews will be held for newly interested members.
