Artist INC is a program of Mid-America Arts Alliance that connects artists of all disciplines to the tools, resources, and the opportunities necessary to develop their entrepreneurial skills and to strengthen their artistic practice.

An artist is a creative worker, idea purveyor, dancer, visual artist, performer, writer, music creator, culture bearer, painter, maker, artisan, illustrator, culinary artist, actor, playwright, storyteller, social convener, imaginary, poet, cultural worker, visionary, change maker, textile artist, photographer, teaching artist, filmmaker, sculptor, designer, crafter, organizer, rock star, and more.

Artist INC Lawrence sessions run for eight-consecutive weeks on Tuesday evenings from 5:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m January 6 – March 3, 2026.
