On October 27, we opened up the 12 x 12 Juried Exhibition featuring over 100 works, all of which are twelve inches square. Artist Hong Chun Zhang juried the exhibition, selecting from over 300 entries. Responses to the call represented a range of interpretations and approaches, and inspired conversations for future juried exhibitions. The majority of featured artists are based in Lawrence, with other artists hailing from Kansas City and across the country. The opening reception was well attended and it was especially nice to see so many of the participating artists there. This exhibition comes down the week before the Christmas holiday, and provides a great opportunity to give original art and support artists. Each purchased piece comes with special packaging for ease of gifting. Many thanks for your support, and we hope to see you in the gallery.
