Community and Professional Performance

The Lawrence Arts Center brings the highest caliber of theater, music, and dance performances to the Lawrence community.  Regular performance series include Nine-Forty Live concerts, monthly Free State Story Slams, four Summer Youth Theatre productions, dance gala performances, and Family Theatre presentations including our beloved annual winter production of the Kansas Nutcracker, made up of a cast of over 120 youth and adult, non-professional and professional dancers and musicians.

Convenient parking is available in the garage across the street from the Arts Center.
Parking is always free on the top level, throughout the entire garage after 6pm Monday through Saturday, and all day on Sundays.
