Lawrence Ballet Theatre presents Emergence 2017, a mixed repertory performance of classical ballet and contemporary works.  The contemporary portion of the program includes new works by Kansas City choreographer Kristopher Estes-Brown and our own School of Dance faculty Vashti Goracke. For the ballet lovers in the audience, Lawrence Ballet Theatre will present a dynamic neo-classical piece from North Carolina based choreographer Melissa Hale Coyle.  Artistic director Cynthia Crews will be staging excerpts from the delightful classical ballet Le Corsaire featuring Guest Artists Vashti Goracke and Hanan Misko. This program will also feature an original work by Artist in Resident Maura Garcia.  Bring your family and friends and enjoy this celebration of dance.
