This mixed-media camp will introduce teen artists to darkroom photography and printmaking techniques through experimental explorations of color and value. In the darkroom we will make surrealistic drawings with light, using photo development techniques and tools. We’ll also make stacks of colorful prints while learning to use the printing press. Finally, we’ll combine what we create using collage and mixed-media techniques to make abstract compositions.
