Yekyoung is a 2020 KU Illustration&Animation graduate. A nonbinary Korean-American artist currently working an office job but always has time for art.

They enjoy making art, comics, and animations. They also love experimenting with their work and exploring new things! His favorite subjects are animals and fantasy characters. Learning new things in art is always something to look forward to.

A local cryptid and creature enthusiast. You can usually find them at the public library looking for books or in a garden tending to some plants. Their work has been featured at the KCAC Gallery and multiple times within the University of Kansas' Chalmers Hall and Watson Library.

Learn the fundamentals of digital animation using Photoshop tools and tricks. We'll spend time sketching character designs, storyboarding, and learn about traditional animation techniques to bring our drawings to life.

Go bananas for art history! Young artists will explore legendary movements by reimagining iconic masterpieces with a fruity twist. We’ll paint, sculpt, and sketch from Impressionism to Pop Art, mastering new techniques while creating a whole bunch of "peel-good" masterpieces. No class on Friday, June 19th.
