Celebrate spring sketchbooks in this plein-air drawing and painting class focused on the emerging plant life around Lawrence. This class will meet weekly, in a different location (both in-person and online). Study light, color, and plant forms using watercolors and various drawing media. This traveling sketchbook class will focus on drawing people in spaces around Lawrence while exploring the history and stories of these people and places. The class will meet each week with a combination of in-person and online sessions and will help you build creative community along with skills in anatomy, drawing, storytelling, light, textures and character.
