Born and raised in Iowa, Sara moved to Kansas for college. She now calls Lawrence home after teaching music for over 30 years. She holds a Masters of Music in Special Education and has taught preschool through college level courses. Ms. Sara enjoys teaching music in a community setting and supports young musicians with varied interests and goals. She loves creating, singing and learning music alongside her students with joyful literature that challenge their artistic skills.
