THE PLATTER PROJECT
The Platter Project is a silent auction that kicks off The Souper Bowl season. Items currently available for bidding are ceramic platters created by local artists. The funds that we raise through the auction support the Adult Education Program and the Ceramics Studio so we can continue serving the community through art!
BIDDING | To view platters available for bidding, check out the navigation bar on the left-hand side of this page and click the tab titled “Bid on Platters”.
TIMELINE | Auction and all bidding starts Friday, Jan. 10 at 5 PM and closes Saturday, Feb. 8 at 2 PM.
PAYMENT | Bidders will not be automatically charged at any point during the auction. When bidding closes, you will receive a text or email prompting you to checkout. You must be the highest bidder to secure the platter. Raffle entries will be immediately charged.
ACCOUNT & COMMUNICATIONS | You must make or login to an account on this site to bid. Once you have an account, you will be notified when you have been outbid and reminders about when bidding closes.
PICK-UP | Platters will be available for pick-up starting 12 PM on Monday, Feb. 10 at the Lawrence Arts Center Front Desk.
A Special thanks to the artists who donate their time and talent to creating the ceramic art available for purchase. The Souper Bowl wouldn’t exist without you!
The Arts Center is honored to partner with Just Food, a local food bank whose mission serves Douglas County by supplying over 30 partner agencies with fresh produce, dairy products, meat, bread and pantry staples.
A huge thank you to the Platter Project 2025 sponsors Bracker’s Good Earth Clay and Kansas Clay. Thank you for being a part of our team!
