INSIGHT Art Talk | Samantha Mendoza

Join us for an evening with printmaking artist Samantha Mendoza, as she discusses her recent solo show, All That’s Forgotten.

Samantha Mendoza was born in the San Joaquin Valley in Central California. Her journey into printmaking began at the College of the Sequoias in 2010, under the guidance of friend and mentor Richard Peterson. She graduated with her BFA in Printmaking from the Kansas City Art Institute in 2015, followed by her MFA at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, IL, in May 2019. Upon graduation, she relocated to Saint Louis, MO, to become the Artist in Residence at Tom Huck’s Evil Prints. She has since become a member of Grafik House USA (a print shop operating in downtown St. Louis), and continues to make work whilst teaching printmaking and drawing.
