Tap dance combines rhythm, musicality, and coordination into a fun percussive movement session for your feet. Starting with Level I, students remain in each level until they've mastered the required material to progress to the next level. This class teaches the fundamentals of tap, basic rhythms, and stylized dance combinations.

    Enrollment in both Tues/Thurs Pointe and the prior ballet technique classes are required. First-year students wear ballet slippers until approved to purchase and wear pointe shoes. Classes focus on strengthening the body and using proper technique in preparation for the rigors of dancing en pointe. In addition to the two pointe classes, Ballet V-VI students are required to enroll in three ballet technique classes per week.
