The Jazz Dance program features various styles of jazz including classic, Broadway, and contemporary. Beginning students focus on building rhythm, coordination, and character skills until they are ready for syncopation movements, body isolations, dynamic leaps, suspended turns, and stylized choreography. In this introductory jazz class, students will learn the fundamentals for stylized jazz choreography while building rhythm, coordination, and character skills. No class March 12 & 19. This class will participate in the EOYS on May 16-17.
