Dance Instructor
Maya Tillman-Rayton is a KU graduate with a degree in Human Biology. Currently, she is a faculty member in KU's Theater and Dance Department. She has also recently choreographed a piece for the University Dance Company entitled ""Procession""
Maya's teaching career spans 15 years to students of all ages in Lawrence and Kansas City. She is married to a ""retired"" dancer with two beautiful kids.

Afrodance is a collection of dances originating from Sub-Saharan African countries. Dancers will learn a combination of traditional African, Afro-Carribbean, and African hip hop moves set to African pop and Reggaeton music. This high-energy class will get you moving!
No prior experience required.

Unleash your creativity and energy at the ultimate summer camp experience where jazz dance, hip hop, music, and film collide through the exciting world of commercial dance. This one-of-a-kind camp explores tv commercials, backup dancing, hiip hop culture, music videos, short cut videos, and one take videos. Camps includes a final showing on the last day and an original camp short film.
For Grade 4-9. No previous experience is required.
