Students will work with paper clay to explore alternative construction techniques and possibilities for handbuilding. The class will also cover the formulation and mixing of paper clay recipes.

Students will learn basic building techniques through pinch pots, coiling, and slab construction and then transition into more advanced forming and surface decoration techniques.
