Stacy Barnes is originally from Greensburg, Kansas. After she received a BFA in ceramics from Kansas State University, she was awarded the first year-long residency at the Lawrence Arts Center. After her residency she returned to her hometown to set up a studio. She is also the Director of the 5.4.7 Arts Center in Greensburg.
