Liz Bonny

Adult Visual Arts

Liz Bonny is a fiber artist based in Lawrence, KS. She is a weaver, spinner, dyer, and sometimes sewer, and has started processing local raw fleeces, working toward a sheep to shawl project using local wool. She loves to use repurposed and thrifted materials in her projects, and is always looking for methods and supplies to lessen her ecological footprint and increase accessibility. She sells her work under the name Harvestry by Hand and is excited to be working locally to share her love of wool, weaving, spinning, and dyeing. She is a mother of two active young children. Liz finds making to be both healing and energizing, and a way to create community.
