Create one-of-a-kind designs on fabric with simple hand-dying techniques you can do at home. We’ll learn to make folded shibori patterns, use wax stamps to create Batique motifs, and dye in reverse using bleach. Each student will apply what we learn to produce pillowcases, wall hangings, upcycled fashions, and more.

This camp will prepare young artists to sell their work at Art Mart as we fill our booths with handmade stickers and prints, learn simple projects for home décor, and create jewelry and fashion designs that will fly off the shelves. Each young artist will design and prepare a vendor’s booth before inviting family and friends to spend special ‘LAC Art Bucks’ at the Art Mart grand opening!
