Studio Manager


Kathryn Combs is a printmaker and interdisciplinary artist from Indiana whose work focuses on the intersection of technology, society, and daily life. Her prints and woven installations use mixed media such as screenprinting, photographic films, Tyvek, and spray paint. She received her MFA in Printmaking from Indiana University in 2021. Kathryn has taught art at Indiana University Southeast in New Albany, IN, Auburn University in Auburn, AL, and Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK. Along with colleague Kacey Slone, Kathryn is co-owner of Junior Jr. Studio, an Indiana based Risograph studio. She is excited to be a part of Lawrence’s thriving arts community.

Let us introduce you to the basics of using a risograph, from single color drawings to four color photographic imagery. Unfamiliar with a risograph? Think of it as a cross between screenprinting and photocopying. No previous experience necessary.
