Jason Baltazar is a proud Salvadoran American. He received his PhD from the University of Kansas, where he studied creative writing and speculative fiction. His stories have appeared in Boston Review, Wigleaf, Wrongdoing Magazine, and other venues. He currently teaches creative writing and literature courses at James Madison University.
