This class will focus on the art and science of ceramics as we explore a wide range of mid-fire surface techniques. We will touch on some of the chemistry involved with clay and glaze formulas and conduct some simple glaze experiments. We will also play with various approaches to decorating surfaces. Previous clay experience is required.
