Summer is associated with the element of fire and the heart center in traditional Chinese medicine. Let’s cultivate some joy and connection! Like its “sister form,” tai chi, qi gong includes gentle, flowing movements, and, like yoga, it contains stretches, postures, breathing, and meditation. We will also do tapping and knocking from traditional Chinese medicine to activate pressure points. This practice does not require previous experience and is suited to all levels of ability. Exercises may be modified for injury, limited mobility, or increased challenge. Wear comfortable clothes that allow you to move. You can be barefoot, or wear shoes, but no street shoes in the dance studio, please.
No previous experience required.
