2026 School of Dance Summer Choreographer’s Showcase

Apply to be a part of the 2026 School of Dance Choreographer’s Showcase!

Calling all movers ages ten to adult to apply for the annual School of Dance Choreographer’s Showcase! This event provides a venue for both new and experienced choreographers to exhibit their work in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Choreographers must apply and be approved before their work is eligible to be performed. Applying choreographers must adhere to the choreographic guidelines listed below. There is no cost to apply and perform if selected.

Timeline

June 26 | Online Applications Deadline

July 10 | Choreographer’s Showcase at 7pm

Choreographic Guidelines

• Duration should not exceed  2mins, 30 secs, unless approved by the Dance Program Director.
• Choreography, music, and costuming must be appropriate for an all-age audience. Nudity, curse words, or offensive material will not be tolerated.
• Choreographers are responsible for providing their own costumes and props.
• Choreographers must purchase their own music and submit to event staff.
• Solos, small/large groups, and family dances are encouraged.
• Choreographers are provided a studio space on a first come, first-serve basis. Please note that summer camps/classes are given first priority.
