Located in the heart of Downtown Lawrence, we offer a wide range of spaces for your events.
Our dedicated team of trained technicians and event support staff are here to ensure that every aspect of your special event runs smoothly.
From film screenings and piano recitals to dance recitals, fundraisers, and private receptions or events, we can handle it all. We also have studio and rehearsal spaces available to meet your needs.
Due to our busy schedule of exhibitions and programming in visual arts and performing arts, we highly recommend making event reservations or requests at least six months in advance.

- Ample covered garage parking is available directly across from the Main Building and around the corner from 10th & Mass Studios.
- Cash bar catering license to serve alcohol at your event. Restrictions and sales tax apply. Please ask for more details.

Lawrence Arts Center is here to ensure anyone—of any age and any background—can connect with a supportive community and flex their creative muscles. With contemporary exhibitions, performances, and an array of art education classes for adults and kids, everyone will find something that’s right for them.
Our primary state-of-the-art facility at 940 New Hampshire St. features classrooms, studios, theatres, and more. To further support the community, we have a nearby preschool location at 946 New Hampshire St., our we also have a satellite space for classes at 10th & Mass Studios and a preschool location at 946 New Hampshire!
