King Sized | Juried Exhibition

Lawrence Arts Center invited artists of all media and experience levels to share their interpretations of the crown. Whether it’s a playful take on Elvis, a thoughtful dissection of the responsibility of power, or a complex examination of royally-sized candy bars, the gauntlet was open to interpretation. Juried by printmaking powerhouse, Tom Huck, we are thrilled to bring this dynamic group of artworks to the community.

Opening Reception | Friday, October 31, 6-9 pm

Celebrate the opening of the King Sized Juried Exhibition and the opening of two other new exhibitions in the accompanying galleries!

Closing Reception | December 13, 5-8 pm

Join us for the closing reception in the large gallery! Patrons are encouraged to come during the reception to pick up any artwork they purchased before LAC closes for Winter Break, and artists are welcome to come and mingle with patrons and the other artists or pick up their unsold artwork if they’d like to take it home early.
