Jess Finkemeier (Costume Assistant) has participated in theatre as both an actor and technician. In middle school, Jess got their theatrical start as Corpse on Couch and continued getting roles such as greaser in The Outsiders and newsie in Newsies. Jess was a member of Bath House Players at Helen Hocker Theatre for a number of their early high school years, which is also where their technical theatre career began. They have costumed a number of shows, including Peter and the Starcatcher and Hello Dolly. In Jess’ later high school years they joined the Manhattan Experimental Theatre Project, where they wrote and produced their own original pieces alongside fellow high school students. Throughout high school, they were also a scare actor in multiple haunted houses and found a real thrill in scaring adults. Since graduating high school in 2019, they have taken a step back from theatre and have only just gotten back into the tech side of things this year with plans to resume acting as well.
