Christian R. Boudreaux

Christian Boudreaux (He/Him/His) is a recent graduate from the University of Kansas majoring in Theatre Performance and Creative Writing. He specializes in Shakespeare and Musical Theatre with an emphasis on voice and speech and movement. You might have seen him in KU’s production of Brittian’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” as Puck, or for his role as Davey in the Topeka Civic Center’s production of “Newsies.” Christian is a local playwright and actor currently working towards stage combat and stage intimacy proficiency.

What is movement? From Commedia to clowning, physical theatre creates new possibilities for actors to connect to their bodies. In this course, actors will explore the basics of movement (time, weight, space and flow) and learn to utilize them in complex ways (improv, elemental work, animal work, clowning).
