SunYoung Park’s artwork explores the interplay of personal memory and collective longing through surrealist gestures and the depiction of liminal spaces. Employing a distinctive visual language, the exhibition features two-dimensional hanging sculptures that blend traditional Korean iconography with contemporary symbolism. This visual juxtaposition is designed to create both contrast and narrative cohesion between the two-dimensional and three-dimensional elements. Ultimately, this exhibition aims to evoke introspection and foster dialogue about how individual histories intersect within broader cultural narratives.
