Lawrence Art Center’s The Nutcracker, A Kansas Ballet 2023
Experience the sensation and charm of the Lawrence Arts Center’s original production. A winter family favorite, this ballet is based on E.T.A. Hoffman’s original story, set in Kansas during the Civil War. Witness the magic and wonder of this story as Drosselmeyer and Clara defeat the Mouse King and liberate the Nutcracker from his enchanted form.
All cast members receive one complimentary ticket to the dress rehearsal. A code to redeem this ticket will be sent via email to all cast members. Additional tickets can be purchased for $15 each.
Ticket Transparency Policy
Starting October 1, 2023, the Lawrence Arts Center has a new ticket transparency policy, found here.
What can I expect when I purchase a ticket now? You can expect to see a breakdown of where your money is going. It will list the base ticket price, an Audience View ticketing agent fee of $1.50 per ticket, and a sales tax of 9.3%.
