Open to all dancers, movers, musicians, and creative performers ages 16 to adult.

When: Monday, August 10 | 7:00-8:20 pm

Where: 10th and Mass Studios | Studio A (1000 Massachusetts St Suite D, Lawrence, KS 66044)

The Theatre and Dance for the Very Young program seeks dancers, movers, musicians, and creative performers ages 16+ interested in creating an interactive performance for very young children ages 0-6! All performers are compensated.

Auditions will occur in the Studio A (10th & Mass Studios) on Monday, August 10 from 7:00-8:20pm. Please wear clothes you can move in, bring the instruments that you play (piano provided), and be ready to collaborate with others. No prepared material is necessary.

REHEARSALS: TBD dependent on performer’s schedules.

PERFORMANCES:  Oct 2 & 3

What is the show about?

Skyward is an immersive theater experience of music, movement, and imagination woven through themes of sky, space, flight, and nature. Designed specifically for children ages 3-6 and their families in collaboration with the Lawrence Arts Center’s Kelly Galloway Kindergarten, we welcome very young children to move and play alongside the dancers and actors.
